We are now looking for a commercially strong Key Account Manager to join our Sales team in Helsinki Finland, following the retirement of our current KAM.
Your role
You will be responsible for key retail accounts, sales growth, and the profitable execution of sales plans. The role includes negotiations with retail buyers, store owners, and category specialists. In addition, you will actively participate in brand development, marketing and sales planning, and act as a Brand Manager for selected international brands.
You will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with product managers to drive the growth of our retail business in Finland.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability in retail channel in Finland
- Manage customer relationships and negotiations with key retail partners
- Act as the main contact for major stores and lead secondary placement negotiations
- Plan and execute annual sales and action plans
- Open new accounts and expand distribution for our products
- Provide retail market insights to support brand planning and portfolio development
- Participate in brand, marketing, and sales planning together with principals and internal stakeholders
- Participate in pricing, marketing budget planning, and sales performance follow-up
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of FMCG Key Account Management experience in retail
- Good understanding of Finnish retail chains, purchasing processes, and operating models
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and launching new brands
- Bachelor’s degree (BBA) or other relevant qualification
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Fluent Finnish and English
- Strong commercial mindset, proactive way of working, and an interest in brand development and marketing
